How To Enter Pripyat Early After Update In Stalker 2

As a seasoned Stalker 2 player with countless hours under my belt, I can confidently say that this guide is a game-changer! The ability to explore Pripyat early on is like unlocking a secret level in a video game, and it’s something that many players have been eagerly waiting for.

In the game world of Stalker, Pripyat is a well-known landmark, featuring prominently in both the original series and the upcoming Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. However, players might have to advance quite far into the storyline to reach this location, which could consume considerable gameplay time due to the campaign’s length. To bypass this and gain early access to Pripyat, along with exploring its base and facilitating easy fast travel, there’s a simple trick you can employ.

How to Reach Pripyat Early in Stalker 2

To get into Pripyat at the start of Stalker 2, players initially need to navigate through the Yaniv region, which is situated in the northwest corner of the map. This is the same place where you may have obtained the Weird Bolt artifact from the Tornado anomaly. Direct your character towards the spot indicated on the provided map to find a train shed with an open railcar.

Vaulting Over the Train to Enter Jupiter Region

To gain entry into Pripyat early, it requires some agility, specifically parkour moves, as you’ll need to leap over a train car to access the Jupiter area. Here’s the step-by-step guide:

  1. Climb over the cinder blocks in front of the open train carriage.
  2. Turn around and jump on top of the thin metal fence behind you. Landing the jump may take a few attempts, but it’s relatively easier than the next part.
  3. Now, you’ll need to use the fence as a ramp to run and jump in the gap between the carriages with barbed wire. Try to aim for the left section of the gap to get a better footing, as aiming for the center will push you back to the ground. This will take a lot of attempts before your character finally latches itself inside the gap.
  4. Once you’ve landed in the gap between carriages, climb on top of the carriage to your right and drop to the other side to enter the Jupiter region of Stalker 2.

Reaching Pripyat from Jupiter

To get into Pripyat, look for the designated route shown in the image provided above. Upon entering Pripyat, continue along the roadway until you spot the Palace of Culture base, as indicated on your map. You’ll find it on the left side of the path after passing by the Shopping Mall.

Unlocking the Palace of Culture Base

To make coming and going from Pripyat effortless, it’s essential to secure access to the base. When you find the Palace of Culture, go inside, ascend the stairs, and unlock the base. Inside, you can engage with Bolero the technician, the vendor, and most significantly, Telegraph the guide. You can utilize the guide for leaving the Pripyat region, which is a more convenient option than walking there on foot. Once the base is unlocked, it will serve as a quick travel point for other guides too.

Here as well, you’ll find a place to rest (sleep), referred to as a bed, and an area for storing or retrieving your items, often called an item stash. As one of the advanced zones in the game, Pripyat is rich with top-tier loot, and vendors within this region offer some of the finest goods that can be found in Stalker 2.
