The soldiers are doing their best to keep them at bay, yet none who were sent through the gate have returned or managed to seal the portal thus far.

To rescue them and finish ‘Find The Heir’, it’s crucial that you first navigate through the gate. Closing the Oblivion portal is a necessary step in this process. Upon your return to Weynon Priory, you’ll swiftly realize that it’s under siege, and you’ll have to find both Jauffre and The Amulet of Kings. Eronor is clueless about their whereabouts, but Brother Piner mentioned spotting Jauffre in the chapel. Once you’ve dealt with the assailants, make your way there, and you’ll encounter Jauffre. After taking care of the enemies, return to Weynon House to search for the Amulet.

In the chapel, be extra cautious because allies and foes are close together here, making it simple to unintentionally harm an ally.
