Contrary to popular belief, the actual treasure hoard isn’t hidden; I stumbled upon it accidentally during my exploration near the Watcher’s Mirror. However, if you’re relying solely on the treasure map drawing to find this specific loot, you might be in for a lengthy search since there aren’t many distinct landmarks to guide you. Thus, I have provided precise directions to help you discover the enigmatic ‘Intimidating Feline Codpiece Treasure Map’ in ‘Avowed’.
Avowed Intimidating Feline Codpiece treasure location
By examining the Treasure Map for the Feline Codpiece in Avowed, it’s hard to pinpoint the location of this cliffside path without first reaching the eastern edge of the map and witnessing the vast river gorge personally. The route depicted on the map seems to run almost beneath the Watcher’s Mirror landmark, but it’s best approached from the Avowed party camp in the Rise. Therefore, we’ll begin our search there.
- From the Rise part camp, head roughly east-southeast, eventually going up a hill with a cliff on your left.
- Follow this cliff around to the left and you’ll soon see a massive skeleton embedded in the cliff on the opposite side of the gorge.
- Drop down to the lower track and look for the path on the left that runs north along the cliff edge towards Watcher’s Mirror.
- Run along the path and smash the wooden planks that block the tunnel entrance to reach the secret stash.
In this hidden cache, you’ll discover just a treasure chest, but it contains the prestigious Stelgaer’s Pride body armor. This armor triggers the Barbaric Shout Fighter skill when you sustain damage exceeding 30% of your total health. The Barbaric Shout ability momentarily halts enemies and renders your weapon attacks immune to interruptions, enhancing their Stun impact. Furthermore, this armor offers a 18% reduction in incoming damage, an additional 15% damage reduction, and boosts your stamina regeneration by 5%.
In my inventory, I found a chest containing 20 Silver Fenning (totaling 120 Currency), a Common Grimoire of Elements, three pelts, an Iron Chunk, and one Primal Water. Although the items aren’t abundant, they will be useful for purchasing upgrades and materials to improve my gear in Avowed as I venture into the next region.
