Before embarking to any Organics Deposit for mining, ensure that you’ve constructed at least one Mining Outpost at your Workshop and gathered some Pylon Components. The number of Pylons required will depend on the distance between your base and the deposit. Do note that each Pylon has a range of approximately 40 meters from the Outpost and other Pylons.

Alrighty, once I’ve geared up and set my sights on the Organics Deposit I’m keen to mine, I’ll navigate myself there. Once arrived, I’ll whip out my trusty Polygonal Scanner.
