As a seasoned Path of Exile gamer with hundreds of hours under my belt, let me tell you that the recent Settlers of Kalguur update has been nothing short of a treasure trove for us gamers. One such hidden gem is the elusive Bismuth ore, a resource so valuable it’s got me mining for days!
In the latest update for “Path of Exile,” dubbed The Settlers of Kalguur, an abundance of fresh game content has been introduced, which includes various resources up for grabs. Among them is Bismuth, a sought-after and scarce mineral ore.
In this tutorial, we’ll show you methods to obtain Bismuth within the game Path of Exile. This rare mineral holds multiple applications, which makes it an essential resource for settlers in Karguul.
How to Get Bismuth
In Path of Exile, you can acquire Bismuth through two effective strategies: personally mining it or delegating the task to your workers. However, for optimal results, make sure you understand how each method functions.
So how do both methods work?
Mining Bismuth
Bismuth can be mined through Bismuth deposits. You will be able to find these deposits after Act 5 in Settlers of Kalguur.
The picture displayed gives you an idea of how a Bismuth ore deposit typically appears. To extract Bismuth from this deposit, simply approach it and interact with it.
When you extract Bismuth, it’s crucial to remember that nearby creatures will gain potent boosts. These opponents will significantly outmatch the surrounding enemies, making mining Bismuth potentially dangerous, so exercise caution.
In the picture provided, you’ll notice that the enemies with special buffs stand out with a vibrant border. To efficiently handle these groups, it’s best to eliminate the buffed enemy initially. Doing so will simplify your task and facilitate a quick exit from the area.
Using Workers to Mine Bismuth
To start mining Bismuth with your workforce, first, you’ll want to improve or level up your mining operations to level 4. Once your mining reaches that level, you can then delegate workers for the task of extracting Bismuth. With workers assigned to the mining process, they will automatically yield Bismuth for you. Keep in mind though, that you’ll need to pay them an hourly wage, so ensure there is enough gold in your reserves.
