Eventually, Roger Taylor took up the drums, Andy Taylor handled the guitar, and Simon LeBon provided the vocals.

Then, when their self-titled masterpiece finally dropped in summer 1981, it swiftly climbed to the third spot on the UK Album Charts and remained there for an astounding 118 weeks!
In the thrilling 2020s, I found myself reminiscing about Duran Duran’s electrifying performance at BST in 2022 alongside Nile Rodgers & Chic. Now, my excitement has reached new heights as these iconic acts are set to unite once more for Chelmsford City Live in 2025! And if that wasn’t enough, Duran Duran will be taking center stage at Exeter’s Powderham Castle as well! I can hardly wait to experience the magic all over again!
