How to Get into Makino Kurumazuka Kofun | AC Shadows Guide
The Makino Kurumazuka Kofun lies to the north of Yawata Plains, within the Izumi Settsu region. It’s essentially straight north from your hideout spot in Izumi Settsu, as you can see on the map provided above.
To embark on this level, I must assume the role of the enigmatic samurai, Yasuke. If I’m not yet far along in my gaming journey, I should advance the storyline until Yasuke is playable. Additionally, it’s essential that I have either a Teppo or Bow at my disposal and ensure they are equipped for battle.
When you reach the Kofun on your map, keep an eye out for a red explosive barrel situated outside. Go near it as Yasuke and you’ll find that he can pick it up and transport it. Naoe lacks this ability, which is why we needed Yasuke in this situation!
While holding the barrel, make your way down the staircase towards the Kofun’s entrance. However, it seems there’s a pile of debris blocking the entryway. Shall we clear that out for now?
As I approach the towering rubble blocking my path, I carefully toss an explosive barrel right in front of it. Then, I take aim with either my trusty Teppo or my powerful Bow, firing at the barrel. Boom! The blast clears the way, and I triumphantly stride into the Kofun!
To enter the Makino Kurumazuka Kofun in AC Shadows, follow these steps. You’ll notice that this structure has some additional passages blocked by debris, similar to others. To clear these obstacles, simply pick up an explosive barrel and plant it near the rubble, then detonate it to create a passage!
