How to Get Manasteel
Before we get to the specifics of how you can find Manasteel, let me share with you a tip that can help you find any resource in the game, including the one we’re covering here.
Regardless if you’re navigating through your inventory or a crafting menu, simply click on most game items to find the “Acquisition Method” button displayed alongside its details. This button will provide you with all potential ways of obtaining that item, such as from crafting NPCs, dungeons, and various regions within the game itself.
In the case of regular Manasteel, it can be found in respawning ore nodes (either Moonstone or Gigantic Moonstone) in the following regions:
- Windhill Shores (Level 4 to 7 zone)
- Monolith Wastelands (Level 24 to 27 zone)
- Abandoned Stonemason Town (Level 28 to 31 zone)
- Daybreak Shore (Level 38 to 40 zone)
Simply visit any of these designated areas, and search for any ‘ore deposits’ on the ground. They are clearly indicated on your mini-map, making them effortless to locate.
Example of Resource Nodes

These types of nodes can be found in pretty much any region, but only the zones in the list above will drop the regular Manasteel ore. So, use the in-game “How to Acquire” option to narrow down your search, as you might just be mining gold instead of Manasteel.
Lastly, I’ve found that Amitoi expeditions can net you some lower-level resources, albeit with a smaller quantity of units dispatched. However, as you boost the number of Amitois you send out, the quality of the materials significantly improves, meaning you’ll be getting your hands on the top-tier Manasteel instead.
