How to get Metallica tickets as pre-sale goes live for M72 UK tour dates

Just last week, it became known that the iconic heavy metal group, Metallica, plans to bring their colossal M72 global tour to the United Kingdom during the upcoming summer season.

As a dedicated cinephile, I’m thrilled to share that the tour is being expanded for a fourth consecutive year! It all began in Amsterdam back in 2023, serving as a platform to celebrate the band’s eleventh studio album, “72 Seasons.

To date, this tour has entertained more than four million fans worldwide, with the exception of a single appearance at the UK’s Download Festival at Donington Park. However, starting from 2026, this trend will be broken.

During their tour, Metallica is scheduled to play two consecutive nights in Dublin first, then a solo show in Glasgow, followed by another in Cardiff. Lastly, they will perform two consecutive nights at the London Stadium on July 3rd and 5th to conclude their UK and Ireland leg of the tour.

Over the course of two consecutive nights, I’ll be partaking in what’s been called “No Repeat Weekends.” This implies that each evening offers an entirely unique Metallica setlist and supporting acts. Essentially, it’s double the Metallica experience we could ever have hoped for!

Here’s how to get tickets today.

What are the UK dates for Metallica’s M72 tour?

I’m excited to share that I’ll be attending not just one, but multiple nights of Metallica’s performances! They’re playing single gigs in Glasgow and Cardiff, but they have double shows each in London and Dublin. These extra shows are part of their No Repeat Weekends concept, meaning each night offers a completely unique setlist and support acts. It’s going to be an unforgettable experience!

Right now you can only buy two-night tickets for the London and Dublin dates.

Indeed, I’m thrilled to share that Seat Unique, our official hospitality partner, has secured tickets for Metallica’s concerts in London and Cardiff.

Instead of the standard pricing, these packages come with a higher cost – beginning at £249 – offering access to luxury lounges, superior seating areas, and an array of premium food and beverage choices.

How much do Metallica UK tour tickets cost?

Although the exact prices for all tour dates haven’t been disclosed yet, it’s clear that the Glasgow date falls between £67.50 and £300. This suggests that we might anticipate comparable price ranges for the remaining dates as well.

For Dublin and London, it’s important to note that you can purchase two-night packages covering the whole weekend, which tend to be pricier due to their extended duration.
