As a lifelong theatre enthusiast, I can hardly contain my excitement as I book tickets for Jamie Lloyd’s Much Ado About Nothing at Theatre Royal Drury Lane! With the star-studded cast featuring Tom Hiddleston and Hayley Atwell, this production promises to be a theatrical event not to be missed.
There’s absolutely nothing I cherish more than you, isn’t it unusual? This sentiment certainly holds true as I book our tickets for Jamie Lloyd’s adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing at the LW Theatres.
Among the recent stage performances at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, “Much Ado about Nothing,” featuring Tom Hiddleston (known for his role as Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe) and Hayley Atwell (recognized from her roles in Agent Carter and Mission Impossible), is one of only two productions staged since Peter Brook’s production of The Tempest, which was performed back in 1957 with John Gielgud.
The second production will be The Tempest starring Golden Globe award winner Sigourney Weaver.
Tom Hiddleston is set to portray Benedick, while Atwell will play Beatrice, as they bring to life the classic story by William Shakespeare about sharp-witted characters, famously known as “Much Ado About Nothing.

In the performance, both pairs of characters are misled, and deceit forms a significant portion of the play’s humor and events.
But how will this particular adaptation fare on stage?

Just like the captivating stage appearances of Lily Collins in Barcelona, Imelda Staunton in Hello, Dolly!, and Adrian Dunbar in Kiss Me, Kate, I’m fortunate to be part of an equally limited run of Much Ado About Nothing.
On the 10th of February, 2025, Much Ado About Nothing is set to debut at Theatre Royal Drury Lane. The show will conclude on the 5th of April, 2025.
When do tickets for Much Ado About Nothing with Tom Hiddleston go on sale?
Tickets granting early access to the play “Much Ado About Nothing” are set to be available from Tuesday, 8th October starting at 11am.
General on sale tickets will be released one day later, on Wednesday 9th October at 11am.
