How to Get the Chest in Katano Castle in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

In “Assassin’s Creed: Shadow’s” gameplay, similar to other role-playing games in the series, there are numerous camps and fortresses for players to conquer. However, locating precious legendary items within these locations can sometimes be a bit frustrating. This guide aims to provide you with useful tips on navigating to the treasure chest hidden within the castle situated in the Katano region.

How to Get the Chest in Katano Castle

To put it simply, much like any castle, locating the specific building is the key to finding the treasure chest with the sought-after equipment inside. If you’re interested in knowing its precise whereabouts, I recommend checking out the map image provided at the bottom for guidance on which building holds it.

As for reaching your destination, our top advice would be to climb up the castle’s walls and inch your way towards the designated corner quietly. Keep a low profile and be cautious of guards patrolling the walls; if you manage to stay unnoticed, you should be able to get there undetected.

If you’re spotted, you’ll need to battle your path towards the structure instead. For a covert run, remain on the walls until you’re near enough to leap onto the designated building, which will boast some scaffolding on its sides for easy ascent.

As I scale up the scaffolding pointed out by the red arrow in the picture, I’ll be able to slip into the building through an open window. After that, I just need to lower myself down to the floor below and there, hidden behind guards, I’ll discover the legendary chest.

Remember that you must eliminate all the Samurai Daisho residing within the castle first, as only then will you be able to unlock it. In case you haven’t completed this task yet, there is still some groundwork to cover before you can lay your hands on your reward.

To reach the chest, that’s essentially all the steps you have to follow. For your convenience, make sure it’s clearly indicated on your map with a chest symbol. If you ever need to depart and confront the Samurai Daisho, getting lost should be almost impossible due to this marking.
