As a seasoned Stalker 2 player who’s wandered through the treacherous lands of Pripyat countless times, I can confidently say that nothing beats the thrill of stumbling upon hidden treasures like the Diamond Exoskeleton suit. This bad boy is not only a sight to behold but also a game-changer in combat and exploration.
In the game Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, exoskeletons stand out as formidable armors for players. Among these exoskeletons, the Diamond Exoskeleton suit is a top choice due to its superior defense, enhanced movement speed, and increased maximum weight capacity. What makes it even more appealing is that it’s free and can be obtained while exploring the expansive game world.
How to Get the Diamond Exoskeleton Suit in Stalker 2
In Stalker 2, you can acquire the Diamond Exoskeleton suit within the Pripyat region, specifically behind Strumok Milk Shop, which is situated outside the Palace of Culture base. To get there, leave the base and head south. Upon reaching the milk shop, proceed towards the building complex located nearby. Inside this building, you’ll find your target item.
Enter the Building Next to Sunny Kindergarten
Head along the little footpath to the right of Strumok Milk Shop, which takes you to the apartment complex. Continue straight ahead until you reach and pass the Sunny Kindergarten building on your right side.
As you walk along, you’ll come across a flight of steps that ascend to an apartment complex. Climb these stairs and use them as your entryway. Once inside, prepare yourself for an impending battle.
Defeat Monolith Soldiers & Get the Exoskeleton
Upon stepping into the apartment, you’ll find yourself face to face with several Monolithian guards protecting a device in the center of the room. It would be wise to deal with the guards first before proceeding to search for the Diamond Exoskeleton.
After attending to all the soldiers, make your way back to the room housing the luminescent device. Look behind the emitter to find the Diamond Exoskeleton suit leaning against a wall and some other valuable items nearby. Once you’ve claimed the suit, head back to the Palace of Culture base for modifications.
The suit is rather hefty, potentially slowing down your speed of movement based on how much extra weight you can comfortably handle. At present, it wouldn’t be wise to put it on for a sprint, unless you upgrade it first.
Upgrading the Diamond Exoskeleton
After returning to the Cultural Palace’s main hub, find Bolero the technician and request an upgrade for your Diamond Exoskeleton. You’ll need to invest in several costly enhancements for the suit. But remember, prioritize upgrading the Hydraulic Amplifiers for Servos first, so you can activate the sprint feature within the suit.
In Stalker 2, you now have two options: either improve your Diamond Exoskeleton suit more or put it on and give it a test run. You’ll discover that both your running speed and the weight you can carry have significantly improved. Additionally, you can add up to five artifacts to boost the capabilities of your Diamond Exoskeleton suit even further.
