Following in the footsteps of previous installments, DELTARUNE Chapter 3 features a hidden Egg item that’s intriguing but shrouded in mystery. Its purpose remains unknown! Finding it is no walk in the park, either. Despite its seemingly worthless nature, unearthing this secret treasure becomes an achievement in itself due to the complexity involved. This guide aims to help you locate the Egg effortlessly.

How To Get The Egg | DELTARUNE Chapter 3

To play the game correctly in this chapter, ensure that the minigames remain active and haven’t been completed yet. This means, try not to advance the story excessively and avoid acquiring the Shadow Mantle if you don’t already have it. If you need assistance on how to obtain it, we provide a helpful guide with minimal spoilers available. This should help you avoid discovering it prematurely!

In addition, make sure to finish every quiz in the TV World section. Completing these quizzes will reveal a hidden door, which you can enter. Once inside, enjoy the cutscenes until you’re able to retrace your steps again.

If needed, retrace your steps to locate the room containing the X-to-O puzzle. In this room, you’ll be playing as the character Lancer, who is tasked with transforming all the Xs on the floor into Os (if you haven’t already). You can find Lancer in one of the rooms, and by picking up his controller, you can then choose him as your playable character within the minigame.

No matter which character you choose, finishing the mini-game as Lancer will cause a blue block to materialize. Once you’ve switched to Susie, pick up the block and aim for the far right corner of the room, even across the river. Ensure that it lands precisely amongst the plants in that area, following the example provided above.

Going Nowhere

After completing that task, navigate back to the hidden section within the Green Room chapter’s setting, specifically the dimly lit room where a chest is guarded by a spotlight. Intentionally step into the spotlight and allow yourself to be caught. In the ensuing conversation, choose “Cheater” and “Nowhere”.

After that, make your way to the right to discover another interactive station featuring a straightforward puzzle. First, place the blue cube onto the orange platform which will uncover a pathway. Next, traverse the pathway and press the pink switch to complete the puzzle and unlock a new space.

Head over to the newly-opened room located on your right and you’ll come across another large television designed for gaming. This place seems quite game-oriented! However, if you try to chat with the old man wearing a blue coat who’s near the TV, he doesn’t seem very forthcoming with information there.

As a gamer, I step up to my gaming console, ready for action. Inside the game, I encounter an elderly character who guides me. I engage in conversation with him until he instructs me to proceed rightward. Following his advice, I move right within the game and then rejoin the old man.

Upon your arrival back, you’ll find a wardrobe close to the elderly man. Give it a try to see if you can open it, but unfortunately, it appears to be vacant.

After glancing through your closet, speak with the elderly gentleman once more to continue our conversation. He’ll reveal that you’ve held onto the travel ticket this whole time! Exit the mini-game and explore your inventory – there you will find the TripTicket.

Entering Mancountry

As a devoted fan, I find myself retracing my steps, clutching the TripTicket close. It leads me back to the Golden Sam, where I then venture into the room filled with trash cans.

As you stroll around the room, a trash can may accidentally knock over, uncovering a Ribbick that radiates red aura. Move closer to engage in combat!

Or even more casually:
Roaming around the room, you might accidentally knock over a trash can, revealing a red-aura’d Ribbick. Get closer to pick a fight!

During the battle, look for the “CroakOnX” option, which will appear as a red cross. Simply hover your cursor over this option and then press and hold the left arrow key. The heart icon will then withdraw, enabling you to exit the fight.


In time, you’ll come across a cozy little chamber with a tree standing inside. Speak to the tree’s back and a man will appear. He initiates a tale, then inquires if you’ll “forget me as well?” To ensure he carries on with his story, respond by saying “No.” It appears that other responses do not seem to affect the conversation at all.

To hear the complete tale from him, he’ll give you the Egg. At present, though, no one seems to know what to do with it in this chapter. As far as we can gather, nobody has decided where the Egg should be placed for Chapter 3. Nevertheless, that’s all you need to accomplish to get it.
