On their path towards abstinence, they develop a connection over cups of black coffee, swap tales, and forge a delicate camaraderie from their mutual past experiences.

As they approach Step 5, their discussions should transition into confessions, as Luka’s revelations about his past connection to alcohol could jeopardize their progress. However, it’s evident that James too harbors potentially harmful truths from his past, truths that could undermine the trust essential for both their healing processes.
