How to Reach Frostcrag Spire in Oblivion Remastered
Frostcrag Spire is nestled right east of Bruma, in the uppermost part of Cyrodiil. Perched atop Gnoll Mountain, it lies on the outskirts of the Jerall Mountain Range. Unlike a regular road, there’s no asphalt leading to Frostcrag Spire; however, if you keep your eyes peeled, you can find a concealed dirt track. Here’s how to scale that pathway.
- Start at the edge of the road east of Bruma (the exact spot is pictured above).
- Follow the dirt path that leads up the mountain.
- As the path starts getting steeper, the Hero’s move speed will be drastically reduced. Either ride a horse or spam jump while sprinting to move faster.
- Keep climbing, and you will reach a small campsite with a lit campfire, a tent, and a bedroll. This is the Gnoll Mountain fast travel marker.
- From here, you will be able to see Frostcrag Spire. The road next to the campfire leads directly to it.
Once you’ve scaled Mount Frostcrag and reached Frostcrag Spire, a quick-travel option will become available, significantly simplifying your journeys there in the future.
How to Unlock All Frostcrag Spire Sections in Oblivion Remastered
Initially, Frostcrag Spire’s services are inactive and unavailable for use. To make these features operational, players must acquire house upgrades from Aurelinwae, who can be found at the Mystic Emporium within the Market District of the Imperial City. In total, there are six upgrades required to fully equip Frostcrag Spire. These upgrades are obtainable from this merchant.

You might be able to negotiate a decrease in the cost of upgrades by up to 300 Gold. Once you light the Magetallow Candles in the Altars of Enchanting and Spellmaking, they will stay active forever; there’s no need to purchase additional Magetallow Candles Boxes afterwards.
With three Fire, Frost, or Void Salts as the price, you can summon a perpetual elemental Atronach ally through the use of an Atronach Altar.
