Investigating Wellspring Cave

The location you’re aiming for is called Wellspring Cave. You can find it on the eastern part of the Imperial City, close to the waterfront.

Upon entering, prepare yourself for an intense battle against the Necromancer, located within the initial cave. After successfully defeating him, engage with the remains of Zahrasha.

Continue through the cave, but beware of the other necromancers deeper in.

As I ventured deeper into this subterranean lair, I stumbled upon a mysterious body of water splitting the very heart of the cave. Now, you won’t find any loot or valuables here, but beware, any necromancer foolish enough to cross it might not drown – instead, they’ll simply reappear at their last position when the area resets.

As you stick to the primary trail, look for a gateway to the Wellspring Grove situated at the most northerly part of the cavern.

Upon leaving the cave, you’ll encounter three additional sorcerers specializing in the dark arts. Among them is Noveni Othran who will approach swiftly for a conversation.

You won’t be able to reason your way out of this situation. Regardless of what you say, they are going to come after you. So, stand your ground and fight them off until you emerge victorious.

  2. Loot the Stone Chest for the Unfinished Staff in the center of the grove.

How To Create Your Mage’s Staff

After returning to Raminus Polus, inform him of what you found at the Wellspring Cave.

When you’ve provided him with all your details, inquire about the team members (or personnel) to ensure that you can collaborate with Delmar and establish your team in the Chironasium.

Visit Delmar and ask him about making your Mage’s Staff. You’ll have three primary options:

Destruction Fire, Shock, or Frost damage.
Illusion Charm, Paralyze, or Silence.
Mysticism Soul Trap, Telekinesis, or Dispel.

After choosing your staff, you will have to wait until the calendar day has elapsed.

Have a conversation with Delmar following a one-day wait, then retrieve your upcoming staff from the dresser to the left of the distant enchanted altar when you’re ready.
