Title Game: The Alters – Space Management Tips
In the captivating game titled “The Alters”, you’ll embark on an engaging narrative journey while navigating basic survival and base construction mechanics that unfold a gripping story about a lone man trying to flee from a perilous planet. As your base expands and you encounter new iterations of yourself, you’ll accumulate a plethora of resources and fill up your storage containers with an assortment of unnecessary items. In this guide, we will walk you through strategies for decluttering your space!
How to Remove Items from Storage in The Alters
Initially, make your way to your storage units and retrieve any one of them for a peek inside. Within this unit, you’ll find all the necessary information required for managing your storage space capacity.
As a dedicated collector, I always make it a point to scrutinize every item carefully. One key detail that catches my eye is the “single item volume” stat, which gives me an idea of how much room each item occupies in my storage space. If my capacity starts running low, then it’s time for some spring cleaning and letting go of a few items to make space.
From that point, simply click the right mouse button to initiate the process of deleting unnecessary items to create more room. Remember, you can’t just move it aside, so ensure you delete only those items you’re ready to let go of.
If you didn’t notice, there’s an instruction to “delete” located in the top-left part of the storage display screen. However, I regret to inform you that this guide does not cover methods for temporarily removing items.
When you click the right mouse button, a confirmation window titled “Destroy Screen” should appear, asking for your preference on the number of items to be destroyed. To avoid unnecessary destruction, ensure to estimate the required storage space beforehand, so as to only delete what is truly excessive.
