As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent grinding MMORPG games, I can confidently say that Throne & Liberty has its fair share of tedious grinds. However, the ability to transfer equipment experience is a small yet significant feature that helps alleviate some of that monotony.
In the game Throne & Liberty, you’ll find the common Korean MMORPG mechanics that require prolonged grinding for minimal stat improvements. To alleviate this somewhat, there’s an option to share experience points among your items, and in this tutorial, we’ll walk you through the process!
How to Transfer Equipment Experience
Just a heads-up: For a successful transfer of experience, the item in question needs to have undergone an upgrade at least one time. It’s something that comes up often, and I think it’s worth mentioning again.
Be sure that the item you intend to discard is not currently attached or in use. Remember to examine all your inventory sets (or loadouts), as items in any of them will still be considered “equipped” even when they’re not part of the active set you’re currently utilizing.
Afterward, you can access the Equipment Enchanting screen by hitting the period key (default) or finding it through the main menu. Once opened, don’t forget to click on the “Transfer” button located in the upper left corner of the interface.
In this setup, please choose the item you’d like to award Experience Points to for this tutorial. I will opt for the highlighted junk helmet (as depicted in the following image) even though I don’t currently have any equipment equipped.
Afterward, please choose the item you’re willing to relinquish in order to upgrade your selected gear piece. Make sure that the item you wish to move is not listed if it’s currently unequipped and has some experience to transfer for the process to start.
After selecting an item, simply complete the transaction process by clicking the button located at the bottom of the menu. The cost will vary based on a couple of elements, including the item’s scarcity and the quantity of EXP being moved.
Ensure you are completely certain about your decision, because once you proceed, there’s no turning back – you won’t be able to retrieve the item you’re giving up.
Additionally, remember that the scarcity of your items is significant. If you’re using a scarce item to boost an unenhanced rare item, it will automatically reach the same worth as the sacrifice. However, if a less valuable item is offered to a more precious one, the outcome level will be significantly lower.
