How to use the Holotracker in Star Wars Outlaws explained

As a seasoned space traveler and lifelong Star Wars enthusiast with countless light-years under my belt, I must say that Star Wars Outlaws has truly captured the essence of being a scoundrel in the galaxy far, far away. The quest for Jet Kordo’s Legacy, hidden vaults, and loot is reminiscent of the days when I was chasing bounties across the galaxy myself!

If you’re having trouble locating the vaults in Jet Kordo’s Legacy mission within Star Wars Outlaws, we provide an explanation on utilizing the Holotracker tool, helping you achieve your dream of unearthing hidden treasures.

Additionally, we’ve created a video explaining step-by-step instructions on how to accomplish this task, complete with the location of the initial vault. Don’t forget to watch it as well!

In Star Wars Outlaws, Jet Kordo’s Legacy is merely one of several missions. To embark on this specific mission, you must first accomplish “The Wreck” and gain the ability to depart from Toshara.

Though not directly connected to the main storyline, it’s definitely worth seeking out the secret safes, as they contain some fascinating treasures and provide additional insights into your ship’s history.

In a nutshell, Star Wars Outlaws seems to deliver on its claim of being an ideal game for rogues and misfits, as playing Sabbac or treasure hunting feels quite similar to this universe. Ready to dive in? Let’s go!

Upon finishing the mission “The Wreck,” locate Jet Kordo’s Holotracker on the Trailblazer. Following a scene, interact with the device to display a holographic map pointing out the hidden vault’s position.

To truly immerse yourself in an adventurous spirit, you might have to explore a bit, identifying specific locations, yet each stopover will make you feel as if you’re a genuine explorer, trying to align the landscape.

If you’re stuck, though, you can find the first vault just south-west of Typhon’s Rock, which itself is south-east of Jaunta’s Hope, as can be seen in the screenshot above.

Upon reaching the specified spot, head towards the distinctively colored stone, as it will serve as your guide.

The beeping noise signals that the painted stone is immediately ahead. Keep following the sound until you reach a cave nestled at the base of a depression or deep hole.

Hop on down there, and the source is directly on your left as you enter the cave.

Place the holodisk, and it will lower a ladder from the cavern’s roof. Ascend the ladder, and consult the datapad to discover additional vaults scattered throughout the galaxy.

Unlock the lock and afterwards, open the box. Following a brief chat with ND-5, they suggest that locating more of these safes might be beneficial.

After discovering the vault on Toshara, I’ll no longer see its location indicated by the Holotracker. It’s time for me to venture out into the vastness of the galaxy, ready for new discoveries and adventures.
