Originally debuting as a performance at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Six the Musical subsequently swept through London’s West End and New York’s Broadway. Now, it’s preparing for its next grand appearance – on the big screen.
Composed by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, this popular musical gives a fresh twist to the wives of Henry VIII, portraying them as talented musical artists. This creative work has earned five nominations for the Olivier Awards.
The live performance, Six the Musical, recorded at London’s Vaudeville Theatre, will showcase the six original West End actors: Jarnéia Richard-Noel as Catherine of Aragon, Millie O’Connell portraying Anne Boleyn, Natalie Paris playing Jane Seymour, Alexia McIntosh in the role of Anna of Cleves, Aimie Atkinson as Katherine Howard, and Maiya Quansah-Breed as Catherine Parr.

Six the Musical Live! will hit cinemas on 6th April in the UK and Ireland.
In all likelihood, the movie showing, handled by Universal Pictures, will be played at numerous cinemas such as ODEON, VUE, Everyman, and many others.
Helen Parker, the executive vice president at Universal Pictures Content Group, expressed excitement about the prospect of bringing the project to the cinema as soon as possible.
They had the advantage of collaborating with exceptional musical theater producers who are leaders in the event cinema model for live shows that have achieved worldwide success and critical acclaim, such as Sir Cameron Mackintosh, Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, Stephen Schwartz, and numerous others, through Universal Pictures Content Group.
Marlow and Moss expressed their gratitude for having the chance to produce the series, stating, “It’s wonderful that we can now bring Six to a larger audience through this innovative presentation.
