After quite some wait, it’s nearly here! The Star Trek spin-off movie featuring Michelle Yeoh as Philippa Georgiou, titled Section 31, is almost upon us, and fans can hardly contain their excitement for the character’s comeback.
In the television series Star Trek: Discovery, which ignited the recent revival of Trek on television screens, an engaging character was introduced in 2018 and speculation about a standalone adventure for this individual has been ongoing since then.
Due to various circumstances such as the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, her involvement in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and her later Oscar victory for Everything Everywhere All at Once, there were multiple postponements.
In the end, what was originally planned as a series evolved into a “feature film event,” where Philippa (Yeoh) is summoned by Starfleet to confront a significant danger linked to the “transgressions of her history.
If you can’t wait to catch up with the ongoing series, here’s a guide on where to watch Star Trek: Section 31.
