How to Watch Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Early

As a seasoned gamer and Star Wars enthusiast who’s been through more than a few interstellar adventures, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming live-action series, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew! The blend of kid-centric tales like The Goonies and E.T., sprinkled with a dash of Monkey Island and Indiana Jones, has me hooked from the get-go. And with familiar faces like Vane from The Mandalorian and Brutus joining the fray, it’s shaping up to be an action-packed journey through the galaxy!

A fresh Star Wars journey is returning to our screens! In the timeframe following the events of “Return of the Jedi,” and with the New Republic established, “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” tells a story about an eclectic group. This diverse band consists of the enigmatic Jod Na Nawood (Jude Law), the worn-out pirate droid SM-33 (Nick Frost), along with young explorers Fern (Ryan Kiera Armstrong), Wim (Ravi Cabot-Conyers), KB (Kyriana Kratter), and Neel (Robert Timothy Smith). Together, they embark on a galaxy-wide adventure to find their home world after becoming lost in the Star Wars universe.

The Star Wars series created jointly by Jon Watts (of Spider-Man: No Way Home fame) and Chris Ford (Spider-Man: Homecoming), carries a youthful, adventurous spirit similar to movies like The Goonies and E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, as well as games such as Monkey Island and Lucasfilm’s Indiana Jones series. As these young characters traverse the galaxy, they’ll uncover alien worlds and meet space pirates – among them are Vane (Marti Matulis), once associated with Gorian Shard’s gang on The Mandalorian, Brutus (Fred Tatasciore) and Gunter (Jaleel White).
