As a fan who has been captivated by the hilarious world of What We Do in the Shadows since its inception, I can’t help but feel a bittersweet mix of anticipation and melancholy as we approach the final season. This show has not only provided endless laughter but also offered a unique insight into the lives of these unconventional characters who are trying to navigate modern society while grappling with their eternal thirst for blood.

After five successful seasons, What We Do in the Shadows is returning for a sixth and final season.

The show is modeled after director Taika Waititi’s 2014 vampire mockumentary and revolves around the lives of four vampires. These blood-sucking creatures cohabit on Staten Island with their former servant, now human companion, Guillermo, played by Harvey Guillén.

Earlier, a sneak peek at Season 6 was unveiled, offering fans a tantalizing preview of the adventures awaiting Nandor, Laszlo, Nadja, and Colin in the concluding chapter.

The footage shows Lazlo attempting to resurrect the dead, as well as the arrival of a new vampire, amongst other drama.

In an exciting preview, actor Proksch hinted at Deadline that this year, the character Colin, the vampire he plays, will undoubtedly get up to quite a bit of trouble along with Lazlo.

The actor added: “We are an odd couple, but it works out in the end for the comedy.”

He went on to say: “I’m hoping we’ll see a film featuring Colin Robinson and the entire cast in five years, but I can’t say for certain if that will become reality.
