Kayla Nicole is trying to shake off the Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift chatter.

In the second installment of “Fox’s Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test“, on January 8th, the sports reporter casually mentioned to competitors Alana Blanchard and Kyla Pratt that her former partner was a three-time Super Bowl champion. She further disclosed that he is currently in a relationship with Taylor Swift.

In her personal reflection, Kayla (formerly dating the Kansas City Chiefs tight end over a span of five years until their separation in 2022) opened up about the effects of their breakup.

During a very public split, I must say it’s been quite intense,” the 33-year-old clarified. “I’ve never encountered something similar before.

To set the record straight, I’ve got nothing but love for the “Lavender Haze” crooner, who started seeing Travis back in ’23. There’s no beef here, just pure admiration!

“I really like, like, her,” she continued. “I think she’s very talented.”

Towards the end of the show, Kayla got summoned aside by Special Forces agents. They assisted her in dealing with the news headlines and the online backlash stemming from her past romance with the football star.

Kayla observed that the criticism is consistently draining. No matter what she posts, whether it’s about the sky being blue or anything else, people always seem to respond with comments about their exes and current situations. This has unintentionally made her doubt her own worth as an individual.

She went on, her voice choked with emotion, “It seems I’m merely comparing things, and it feels like I’m stuck in a cycle.” But she admitted, “I’m still working on finding a way to handle this situation.
