Hulk Hogan Booed Out of the Building During WWE Raw on Netflix

The debut of Monday Night Raw on Netflix, produced by WWE, certainly shone bright with an impressive lineup. This included a variety of legends, current superstars, and famous personalities who graced the event that many had been eagerly anticipating. Stars like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, John Cena, Gabriel Iglesias, Vanessa Hudgens, The Undertaker, Travis Scott, among others, were present for Raw’s grand premiere. WWE legend Hulk Hogan also made an appearance, but the occasion didn’t go as planned.

Hogan emerged alongside Jimmy Hart during the third hour of the show for a promotional segment. The intention was to create excitement around Hogan’s new partnership with WWE. However, things took an awkward turn. From the onset, the audience made their disapproval known, booing Hogan right out of the venue.

This morning, I was thrilled to be on hand, hyping up the crowd and sharing some exciting news about my partnership with WWE and my Real American Beer. Just announced, this multi-year collaboration is something I’m truly proud of, so I took the opportunity to shed some light on it. However, before delving into the details, I couldn’t resist mentioning another partnership that I’m also a part of – WWE and Netflix.

Initially, the response was a blend of cheers and jeers as the music echoed, yet even amid the cheers, boos were discernible. As Hogan began his promo, the boos grew increasingly loud, drowning out any positive reaction. Mentions of figures like Randy Macho Man Savage and Andre the Giant failed to divert focus from the overwhelming negativity.

The situation deteriorated further when Hogan mentioned the product, and from then on, it stayed at that level as he discussed the partnership and performed the well-known shirt tear, displaying a WWE on Netflix t-shirt underneath. The official announcement of the collaboration presented a more optimistic tone, with comments from both WWE and Hulk Hogan regarding their multi-year agreement. Grant Norris-Jones, Executive Vice President & Head of Global Partnerships for TKO, stated, “Hulk Hogan has done an outstanding job introducing an exciting, novel product to a competitive marketplace.” He added, “We are thrilled to pioneer a new partnership category and to display Real American Beer before Netflix’s international audience.

Let me share something with you,” said Hulk Hogan, Co-Founder of Real American Beer. “Ever since I first entered the wrestling arena, I’ve been fighting for something greater than myself.” He continued, “I’m excited to join forces with WWE and introduce Real American Beer into the wrestling world. Together, we’re going to celebrate American pride, one beer, one match at a time!
