As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that the announcement of Hunting Simulator 3 has sent shivers of excitement down my spine. Having dabbled in hunting simulators in the past, I’ve always appreciated the authenticity they bring to the table, and the prospect of an improved version with Unreal Engine 5 is nothing short of tantalizing.
Developer Nacon Studio Ghent, previously known as Neopica, in collaboration with publisher Nacon, has unveiled the upcoming hunting simulation game titled “Hunting Simulator 3“. It is scheduled for launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam. A specific release date has yet to be disclosed.
“We’re delighted to be bringing this adventure to fruition, and to be able to take advantage of new premises that will enable our talented teams to continue working on ambitious projects such as Hunting Simulator 3,” said Nacon Studio Ghent studio director Peter Vermeulen in a press release. “This third opus is the culmination of almost 10 years’ experience in hunting game simulation, and we’re concentrating all our efforts on meeting players’ expectations. To achieve this goal, we’re considering community feedback on the first two titles and working closely with professional hunters throughout the game’s development.”

In a fresh take, Hunting Simulator 3 presents an engaging experience for avid hunting fans. Traverse the authentic environments of Colorado and Texas, either solo or with companions, and track down various animal species while relying on your loyal hunting companion.
NACON Studio Ghent, boasting nearly a decade of experience in creating hunting games, aims to deliver an authentic hunting experience with their third installment, “Hunting Simulator 3”. Building upon feedback from over a million players of the previous editions, the studio has maintained the elements that made the series popular while introducing fresh features and gameplay enhancements. One such addition is the innovative dynamic system, “SimFauna”, which accurately represents animal behavior, enabling player actions to significantly influence animals and the surroundings.
Beyond enhancing the behavior of hunting dogs and optimizing sound effects, as well as including vehicular elements, the game offers lifelike, immersive open-world landscapes, all thanks to Unreal Engine 5. Players can hunt more than forty different species of animals, utilizing gear from prestigious brands like Beretta, Winchester, Browning, and numerous others.
