After a somewhat rocky start, Heart Machine’s Hyper Light Breaker began its early access phase last month. Since then, it has been patched up several times, and the first significant update is due on February 18th. This update brings a new playable character, various enemies, affixes, and Holobytes, along with enhancements to performance and adjustments for gear and combat balance.
The developer has detailed upcoming enhancements for Spring, which include a fresh Assassin, new enemies, Blades, Holobytes, and affixes set for release in March. Furthermore, improvements to performance and combat/gear balance are also on the horizon during this period. In April, players can look forward to “Buried Below,” an expansion that introduces a new Crown for combat and a new character. Additionally, players will discover additional areas to delve into as they confront a new Assassin and enemies.
The process of getting started with our service is expected to become more seamless and welcoming. Heart Machine plans to introduce fresh leaders, storylines, equipment, progression systems, challenging end-game scenarios, and much more, leading up to the Version 1.0 release. Keep an eye out for announcements, including a new roadmap detailing content releases from May through July, so stay informed about updates.
