As a lifelong Marvel enthusiast who has spent countless hours immersed in the rich tapestry of stories and characters that make up this universe, I can hardly contain my excitement about the second season of “I Am Groot”. Having grown up with the Guardians of the Galaxy as a staple of my comic book collection, it’s a dream come true to see Baby Groot getting his own show.
From today, Marvel enthusiasts are invited to stream the second season of “I Am Groot” without charge. This lovable character from the Guardians of the Galaxy has now got his own show on Disney+, and the fantastic response to “I Am Groot” led to a renewal for Season 2. These short animated episodes focus on Baby Groot and they take place between the years 2014’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” and 2017’s “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2“. If you haven’t subscribed to Disney+ yet, you can watch the series on one of Marvel’s YouTube channels instead.
Starting today on September 9th, the YouTube channel of Marvel HQ will debut all five episodes from Season 2 of “I Am Groot.” This family-friendly destination is part of Marvel’s Super Heroes Assemble program airing in September and October. Subscribers worldwide can enjoy action-packed animated series, motion comics, short videos, special events, and exclusive merchandise collaborations throughout the year. Additionally, fans will get to see more original content featuring Groot, the Avengers, “Spidey and His Amazing Friends,” and others, as well as full-length episodes from Marvel’s animation library like “Marvel’s Avengers Assemble” and “Marvel’s Spider-Man: Maximum Venom,” perfect for October’s Halloween season.

I Am Groot producer recalls making Bradley Cooper shouting for an hour
In the premiere of “I Am Groot,” Bradley Cooper resumed his vocal role for the character Rocket Raccoon, a fact discussed by director Kirsten Lepore during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, where she shared insights about the upcoming season and reminisced on their collaboration in the first season.
In his recollection, Lepore mentioned that Bradley Cooper’s cameo in the record session was simply fantastic. He added that it barely took Cooper two seconds to find his spot, but with a lot of shouting happening during that episode, he felt apologetic. They had to suddenly switch from a calm state to intense shouting, which lasted for an hour, and Cooper just kept up with it. (Laughs.) Despite the strain, Cooper was very gracious about the situation, but at the end, they sent him some tea as a gesture of apology. Lepore felt guilty, saying something like, “I feel so bad. I feel like I’ve exhausted your voice. I made you shout for an hour, Bradley Cooper.
What is I Am Groot Season 2 about?
In the second season of “I Am Groot,” the mischievous little tree, Groot, continues his antics. This time, he embarks on a cosmic adventure aboard the Guardians’ spaceships, encountering a variety of vibrant and exotic beings and landscapes. Once again, Vin Diesel lends his voice to Groot in five brand-new episodes.
