Occasionally, we come across news stories involving celebrities obtaining restraining orders against their fans, such as the instance where a fan left gifts at Kelly Clarkson’s house or the man who sent Kim Kardashian over 30 threatening letters aimed at her and her then-boyfriend Pete Davidson. Although these situations can be quite alarming, we seldom get to hear the other perspective. In the upcoming episode of Hollywood Demons, there’s a scheduled airing in 2025 that delves into an alleged plan to kidnap, castrate, and murder Justin Bieber.
Recently, Justin Bieber has faced several challenges, including alleged difficulties following P. Diddy’s arrest and persistent rumors about strife within his marriage to Hailey Bieber. Fans are soon going to catch a glimpse of past struggles he endured, according to EW, in an upcoming episode of Investigation Discovery’s Hollywood Demons (available with Max subscription).
The upcoming segment will showcase Dana Martin, a prisoner who was previously incarcerated for two life terms in New Mexico due to the rape and murder of a 15-year-old girl. Remarkably, Martin began writing letters to Justin Bieber, who was then 18 years old at the time. During an interrogation, Martin made this statement:
There were individuals I had desired to see harmed severely. Our plan, which may have sought attention, involved abducting one of them… I was hoping that they might travel to Vermont to commit a crime, possibly tracking down Justin Bieber in the process.
According to reports, Dana Martin claims he devised the scheme as a result of feeling snubbed after Justin Bieber didn’t reply to his letters. In simpler terms, Martin suggests that the reason behind his plan was due to feeling overlooked or rejected by Justin Bieber.
I’m a nobody in prison. I want Justin Bieber to know who I am. It’s crazy, isn’t it?
In the documentary, Edgar Pinon, who used to be a sergeant at the New Mexico Department of Corrections, claims that Dana Martin orchestrated a plan in 2012 for Mark Staake and Tanner Ruane to murder a couple in Vermont, followed by an intended attack on Justin Bieber and his bodyguard in New York. Ruane is said to have referred to the targets as “dogs” during a call with Martin, indicating they planned to neuter them.
As a movie buff, I can tell you that, in our latest adventure, it seemed we unintentionally veered off course and found ourselves in the vast landscapes of Canada. When we attempted to return to sweet Vermont, we were met by diligent U.S. Border Patrol agents who kindly escorted us back across the border. Edgar Pinon here, sharing our tale.
The police conducted a search on their vehicle, discovering scissors (similar to shears) and ties (like neckties). These items turned out to be the essential tools for carrying out the criminal acts.
In 2015, Mark Staake was found guilty on two charges related to planning a first-degree murder and received a nine-year prison sentence, while Tanner Ruane was convicted for the same crime in 2014. As a result of this event, Dana Martin was transferred to the high-security New Mexico State Penitentiary.
It’s incredibly alarming to consider this plot against Justin Bieber, and it makes one ponder when he first learned about it and how it may have impacted him during that period. Given his recent addition to his family with baby Jack Blues and Hailey, it’s clear that the singer prioritizes security above all, and incidents like this serve as a stark reminder of its importance.
To fully understand the tale, tune in to “Stalking the Stars” by Hollywood Demons at 9 p.m. Eastern Time on Monday, April 28th. You can catch it on Investigation Discovery or stream it on Max.
