Khaby Lame was allegedly told to leave the United States.
A widely recognized TikToker, known for being among the platform’s top users globally, was requested to depart from the country following allegations that he had exceeded the permitted duration of his visa, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials, as reported by NBC News.
On April 30, the artist known as Seringe Khabane Lame, who hails from Senegal but is of Italian descent, arrived in the United States. However, on June 6, he was held at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas. An ICE spokesperson confirmed that he was given “voluntary departure” instead.
A few days after arriving, Lame – known for his silent, deadpan parody videos poking fun at other influencers – made an appearance at the 2025 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
Although NBC News hasn’t received a response from Lame yet, Sharks Celebrities Management, who represents him, declared to NBC News that the ICE report is false information. They added that Lame didn’t actually travel to the United States this month.
A well-known social media personality named Bo Loudon, known for his strong support of the Trump administration, has recently claimed responsibility for the reported detention and exit of Lame.
Loudon stated in a recent video on X (previously Twitter), “He has collaborated with some of my acquaintances in the past. They informed me that his visa was canceled about three years back.
He went on to say that he had contacted a few colleagues in management, and he had never witnessed anything unfold so rapidly.
Ever since Lame reportedly left the U.S., this charitable ambassador for UNICEF has persisted in updating his social media platforms. For instance, he recently posted a video from the stands of a Brazilian national soccer team game in São Paulo, Brazil, which was uploaded to his Instagram Story on June 10th.
