As a follower of this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, I must admit that I’ve been eagerly anticipating every twist and turn of this exciting season. With GK Barry bravely facing her fears in the Vile Volcano challenge, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and concern for our TikTok star.
Following its release over the weekend, the public’s votes have determined that the second installment of the new season will feature GK Barry battling against the Malevolent Volcano. Here is an exclusive sneak peek into what lies ahead.
To secure stars for the camp, Barry plans to venture beneath the surface for the competition, however, there’s a twist: She won’t be going alone as someone else will join her underground.
Tonight’s (November 18th) show sneak peek reveals that our character encounters not just a swarm of red ants, but also shares space with a rather large spider in a burrow. Can she maintain her composure under such creepy-crawly circumstances?
You can watch the preview of tonight’s episode below.
Previously, Barry confessed her fear of “everything,” so it remains to be seen how she will manage this upcoming challenge.
In an interview with ITV before entering the jungle, she admitted candidly: “I’ve gone nearly a month without sleep. I’m terrified of the challenges, and honestly, I’m afraid of everything. To me, the eating trials are the most inhumane ordeal imaginable.
Apart from everything else, she acknowledged that it’s her girlfriend and cat whom she would feel the strongest longing for during those moments when she yearns for familiar faces to ease her homesickness.
“But my girlfriend is also very excited for me and thinks I will do really well.”
This new period features the TikTok sensation alongside figures such as television personality Coleen Rooney, “Strictly Come Dancing” performer Oti Mabuse, former “X Factor” judge Tulisa Contostavlos, and numerous others.
In conversation with ITV, Barry shared, “I’m a huge fan! Previously, Ant & Dec asked, ‘Who is Barry, the goalkeeper?’ Now, I find myself part of the very same show.
Things have come back around – I’m thrilled to reunite with them in the Australian wilderness! I’m equally eager to encounter all participants of the program since the cast is consistently fantastic.
