Season Rules in Imaginarium Theater V4.8

Imaginarium Theater Version 4.8 Guide

As a long-time fan of the Genshin Impact game, I can confidently say that I am thrilled to learn about the upcoming season’s lineup. With my years of playing and familiarity with various characters, I find it particularly exciting to see only Hydro, Cryo, and Anemo characters, along with Special Guest Stars, taking center stage. This decision seems well thought out, as it allows players like me who have invested time in mastering these elements to fully enjoy the show. It’s a testament to the game’s commitment to catering to its diverse player base and creating engaging content for all. I can’t wait to see how these characters will perform and collaborate on stage, making this season an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

As a passionate fan, every new season brings the excitement of refreshing the Fantastical Blessing within the Imaginarium Theater. This blessing grants special boosts for my favorite opening characters, enhancing their abilities both during Imaginarium Theater contests and in my thrilling escapades beyond the theater’s gates.

Special Guests

As an avid theater-goer, I’m just popping in to share a heads-up! Emilie’s captivating banner won’t be up at the Imaginarium Theater on its opening day. But fear not, fellow enthusiasts, you can catch it from the fifth day onwards. Can’t wait to immerse myself in the magic of her performance!

Recommended Characters

As a gamer, here’s how I might put it: “Just a heads up, even though I’m following the recommended roster, building a team will be tough since the characters are randomly assigned. Don’t forget, you can also draft some allies from your friends’ supporting cast to give you an edge in the game!”

Brief Guides

Imaginarium Theater Version 4.8 Guide

In Act I, consider opting for any Companion encounters to expand your roster of characters and potential battle teams. If you’re not getting any Companion encounters, feel free to refresh the events located at the bottom right or simply choose the Mystery Boon if you prefer not to use a refresh count.

Imaginarium Theater Version 4.8 Guide

After picking a battle, make sure to glance over the performance specifics to ensure your squad can accomplish both the primary goal and extra objectives. Gathering as many Fantasia Flowers as possible is beneficial because it allows you to acquire additional characters/buffs for future events.

Imaginarium Theater Version 4.8 Guide

Beginning in Act II, you’ll have the option to select either the Wonderful Reward or Companion Scenario. If you feel that your current group may not perform well together, opt for the Companion event. On the other hand, if you believe your team is strong enough, go with the Wonderful Reward for added bonuses as the battles will grow increasingly tough. You’ll acquire a new character following each encounter regardless of your choice.

Imaginarium Theater Version 4.8 Guide

As a gamer, I’d say when forming teams, it’s ideal to have at least one Main DPS character backed by an appropriate Support. However, the luck of the draw in this end-game makes it hard to stick to a guide strictly. At minimum, field a team capable of swift elemental reactions, which can prove vital in any fights.

Initial Note

Imaginarium Theater Version 4.8 Guide

We have 3 bosses here so it’s best if you can choose who to bring in specific bosses beforehand. In my opinion, you should save at least 1 Vigor for Ayaka for Boss Battle #1 and Furina for Boss Battle #2. For Boss Battle #3, any DPS is okay but make sure to bring one bow-character because this boss will always try to hover above melee range.
Of course, don’t forget about their support but since it will be very different for each player, I can only hope you have the luck to bring suitable supporting characters for each DPS. Also, I recommend bringing an Anemo character and saving them until you reach Act 4.

TLDR: Save these characters for certain Acts in case you don’t have a great character in the selected poolAct 3 (Boss Battle #1) – Trial Ayaka
Act 4 – Any Anemo characters, preferably those who can gather
Act 6 (Boss Battle #2) – Trial Furina
Act 8 (Boss Battle #3) – Trial Furina & any bow-character

Act 1

Star Contest: Vanquish All Rivals in XX seconds!

Act 2

Imaginarium Theater Version 4.8 Guide

On this level, it’s somewhat similar to the initial stage, making it manageable even without an elite squad. If your team has improved, opt for the Elite Battle. Otherwise, stick with the Normal Battle. Don’t forget to refresh events located at the bottom right corner if needed.

Act 3 (Boss Battle #1 – Millenial Pearl Seahorse)

Imaginarium Theater Version 4.8 Guide

Primary Goal: Overpower the antagonist before the deadline passes

Beneath its head, the Xenomare Pearl is a concentration of Electro energy that gives it the ability to unleash potent elemental attacks and boost its defensive capabilities. Besides triggering Elemental Reactions to eliminate the Xenomare Pearl, you can also destroy the Resonant Coral Orbs it generates by guiding Fontemer Hoarthunder to inflict substantial damage on that Pearl.

Imaginarium Theater Version 4.8 Guide

Concerning the bonus target, you’ll know the boss is trying to rebuild its pearl when it begins to rotate and emit a glow. This is the instant it will complete the rebuilding process and the time when you should aim to defeat it.

Act 4

Imaginarium Theater Version 4.8 Guide

Star Trial: Overpower a Specific Number of Foes

Imaginarium Theater Version 4.8 Guide

Examine each Battle: Defense Sequence provided to you and note the characteristics of your opponents. Select the level that appears to be less challenging compared to the others. For instance, in the image provided, I opted against the stage with Eremite Desert Clearwater and Eremite Sunfrost because their ability to create a Freeze reaction could pose difficulties for me in battle.

Act 5

Imaginarium Theater Version 4.8 Guide

As a seasoned gamer in Act 5, I find myself once again facing the Star Challenge, where I must vanquish a specific number of foes. Peer into my roster, and decide whether to engage in Normal or Elite Battle, depending on the strength of my squad.

Act 6 (Boss Battle #2 – Emperor of Fire and Iron)

Imaginarium Theater Version 4.8 Guide

Primary Goal: Overcome the villain before the deadline

Imaginarium Theater Version 4.8 Guide

The two fiery spires perched atop its body are pyro-aligned weapons capable of launching devastating elemental assaults and boosting its already formidable defensive powers. In certain attacks, the Armored Crablord lowers its twin molten horns nearer to the ground, creating a perfect chance for Elemental Reactions to neutralize the fire attribute.

Imaginarium Theater Version 4.8 Guide

Concerning the bonus objective involving halting the Emperor of Fire and Iron’s Searing Coronation, this refers to the moment when the boss shifts towards the center of the arena and partially buries itself, preparing for a massive explosion. During this explosion preparation, its horns become vulnerable to melee attacks. This powerful attack is employed solely while the Molten Horns remain intact.

Act 7

Imaginarium Theater Version 4.8 Guide

In this final round, prepare your team strategically for the ultimate boss encounter, set in Act 8. With the remaining heroes at your disposal, select the optimal Battle Event with the highest probability of victory in the Star Challenge. This way, you can utilize any extra characters during Act 7.

Act 8 (Boss Battle #3 – Aeonblight Drake)

Imaginarium Theater Version 4.8 Guide

Primary Goal: Overcome the antagonist before the deadline passes.

Imaginarium Theater Version 4.8 Guide

A device capable of collecting energy and returning it as an offensive strike, this machine possesses more versatility than the Ruin Drake. It can attack both in mid-air and on solid ground. The Aeonblight Drake occasionally emits a harmful surge of energy and strengthens its resistance to the primary type of Elemental damage it has sustained. In specific conditions, its cores scattered across its body become vulnerable. Seize these moments to strike those cores, potentially incapacitating this creature and reducing its Elemental resistance. Whenever the creature recovers from paralysis, it alternates between aerial and ground assault forms.

Imaginarium Theater Version 4.8 Guide

As a passionate gamer, I can confidently say that completing the bonus objective for the final boss is a breeze! The battle kicks off with the boss soaring above my melee reach. In this situation, I recommend using your ranged character, and lock on to the two radiant orange orbs perched atop its wings to bring it down swiftly.
