Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Will Target 60 FPS on Xbox Series X/S

As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my belt, I can confidently say that the upcoming release of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has me absolutely buzzing! The prospect of exploring the world through the eyes of everyone’s favorite archaeologist, running at a smooth 60 FPS on both Xbox Series X and S is nothing short of exhilarating.

Over the past year or so, Microsoft has been releasing games at a steady pace, and they’re wrapping up the year with a strong contender – “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle”. This first-person action-adventure game has caught our attention since its initial reveal, and now the developers, MachineGames, have given us more insight into the game’s technical goals.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that during my conversation with Windows Central, creative director Axel Torvenius dropped an exciting piece of news! The upcoming game, “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle,” is aiming for a smooth 60 FPS performance on both Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. However, specifics about the resolution and the possibility of multiple graphics modes are still under wraps. Torvenius hinted that we’ll learn more about these details in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!

He mentioned that we might reveal additional specifics, including technical details, closer to launch, once we’ve analyzed the performance data. However, he assured us that the goal is for the game to run at 60 frames per second (FPS) on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. This smooth performance should not be sacrificed in terms of visuals or the overall product experience. Instead, it should maintain a consistent feel, running smoothly at 60 FPS on both consoles.

The game “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle” will be released on December 9 for Xbox Series X/S and PC, with a later release scheduled for PlayStation 5 in Spring 2025.
