As a die-hard Indiana Jones fan who’s been through countless adventures since the days of my youth, I eagerly await the release of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. The announcement of an expansion titled The Order of Giants has me even more excited! While details are still scarce, knowing that it’s narratively driven and fits well with the base game’s campaign gives me a sense of continuity that I crave in these epic tales.
The movie “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle” hasn’t been released yet, but it’s been made clear that there will be an expansion after its debut. In August, Bethesda disclosed that MachineGames was also developing a post-launch expansion for the game called “The Order of Giants”, but specifics beyond this have been scarce.
In a recent conversation with MinnMax, creative director Axel Torvenius gave a hint about the upcoming expansion by sharing some concise insights on what players might find. He described it as an “immersive narrative-based unique experience” that will seamlessly complement the main game’s storyline.

MachineGames has additionally made it clear that the game doesn’t include a Photo Mode, and they emphasized that this project will be their largest and longest game yet.
Indiana Jones: The Grand Circle releases on December 9th, available on Xbox Series X/S and PC platforms first, followed by its arrival on PlayStation 5 in the spring of next year.
