For those unacquainted with the trailer, it showcases Troy Baker, who takes on Harrison Ford’s role as a stand-in, and Nolan North, known for his work in Uncharted. The entire video sees these two actors making subtle references to the motivations of Nathan Drake, echoing those of Indiana Jones.
It’s a brilliantly executed clip which understands its audience extremely well.
Although over 9 years have passed since the last significant Uncharted game, the Naughty Dog series continues to be an integral part of PlayStation’s identity. Interestingly, The Great Circle, though a first-person adventure rather than a third-person shooter, shares similar thematic elements with Uncharted.
