As a movie buff who’s seen more financial dramas than I can count, the anticipation for Industry season 3 has been like waiting for the closing bell on Wall Street! With Kit Harington joining the cast and the focus shifting to green tech investing, it promises to be as tense and thrilling as ever. It’s been a long wait for us UK fans, but with all episodes available from 6am on October 1st, I can almost hear the trading floor buzzing already!
Following careful avoidance of spoilers, enjoying tantalizing sneak peeks, and enduring a period of anticipation, it’s finally official: Season 3 of Industry will premiere in the UK!
The BBC has shared that the third season of “Industry” will debut on British television starting from October 1st (Tuesday). Beginning at 6am, you’ll be able to stream all eight episodes on BBC iPlayer.
Season 3, episode one will begin airing on BBC One at 10:40pm Tuesday 1st October.
A first look of the new season was released earlier this year, introducing Kit Harington as Henry Muck, a green tech company mogul who has been described as “the embodiment of old money privilege”.
Fans in the United States have been enjoying episodes from the latest season, but viewers in the UK have had to wait patiently, knowing that the third episode will be broadcast later this year on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
Season 3 sees Pierpoint looking to the future and taking a big bet on ethical investing.
Throughout the series, characters Yasmin (Marisa Abela), Robert (Harry Lawtey), and Eric (Ken Leung) become key figures in the high-profile initial public offering of Lumi, an eco-friendly energy corporation spearheaded by the British nobleman Muck.
According to the summary, after departing from Pierpoint, Harper (Myha’la) is keen on re-immersing themselves in the alluring world of finance. An unexpected ally in this endeavor becomes Petra Koenig, a portfolio manager at FutureDawn, played by Sarah Goldberg.
Alongside Harington and Goldberg, the ensemble also features Miriam Petche portraying Sweetpea Golightly, Andrew Havill taking on Lord Norton, Roger Barclay in the role of Otto Mostyn, Fady Elsayed as Ali El Mansour, and Fiona Button as Denise Oldroyd.
Now that the release date is set, it won’t take much time before UK fans can dive back into the intense realm of finance again.
Industry seasons 1 and 2 are available to watch in full now on BBC iPlayer.
