Industry Season 4 Shocks Fans with Star-Studded Cast Additions!

Although I, like many others, might still be quietly grappling with the departure of Harry Lawtey’s character Robert Spearing from Industry, the show has impressively expanded its ensemble with four fresh faces.

Last month, it became official that Max Minghella, who stars in The Handmaid’s Tale, will take on the role of Whitney Halberstram – the founder of a digital payments company named Tender.

Indeed, I can hardly contain my excitement as I share with you the new additions to our beloved cast for season 4 of this captivating series! Some esteemed veterans are making their grand return, and it feels like meeting old friends again.

Actress Kiernan Shipka from The Last Showgirl has been added to the cast as Hayley Clay, a high-ranking assistant at Tender. Meanwhile, Jack Farthing, known for his role in The Serial Killer’s Wife, will play Edward Smith – a troublemaker and close friend of Henry Muck (Kit Harington), who appears to be part of the elite inner circle.

In the upcoming series, Toheeb Jimoh, known for his role as Ted Lasso, will portray Kwabena Bannerman, a trader at Mostyn Asset Management. It seems likely that his character will work in close proximity with Otto Mostyn, played by George Barclay, although it’s not confirmed if Barclay will reprise his role yet.

Indeed, it’s plausible that Kwabena might encounter or even compete with Harper at some point.

As a passionate movie lover, I’m thrilled to share my excitement about the latest casting news! It turns out that Amy James-Kelly, famously known for her role on Coronation Street, is joining our project. She’ll be portraying Jennifer Bevan, a newly promoted minister in the Labour government – a truly captivating character I can’t wait to see brought to life on screen!

In Industry, we’ll see the return of actors such as Myha’la, Marisa Abela, Kit Harington, Ken Leung, Sagar Radia, and Miriam Petche.

After the dramatic turn of events in season 3 that seems set to change their lives significantly, we wonder how Yasmin and Henry’s transition from being clients to becoming a married couple will unfold.

Looking forward, it’s reasonable to expect more thrilling episodes that will rekindle our adrenaline and make us feel like we’ve just stepped right back into the hustle and bustle of the trading floor, as though no time has passed.

Speaking as a movie enthusiast, I’ve got to share some exciting news: Contrary to previous expectations, Harold Lawtey won’t be returning to his beloved character Robert from “The Industry”. Since its premiere in 2020, this series has been graced by the presence of Harold, and we’ve all grown accustomed to seeing him as part of our TV family.

It’s not too unexpected given that Robert ended his relationship with Yasmin following her admission of love for him, which he reciprocated initially, but eventually opted for Henry instead.

In the last episode of season 3, Robert presented his innovative business concept, Little Labs, to Greg from season 1 (played by Ben Lloyd-Hughes). This suggests that his recent achievements in California might signal him parting ways with good old London.

As a film enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that we’re aware the upcoming season of Industry will span across eight engaging episodes. The production is set to commence towards the end of this month, so it’s only a matter of time before more intriguing details unfold!

Once more, Mickey Down and Konrad Kay are behind the creation and scripting of a new season. They are also serving as executive producers, joined by Jane Tranter, Kate Crowther, and Ryan Rasmussen from Bad Wolf Productions, as well as Rebecca Ferguson for the BBC.
