Influencer Hannah Moody Found Dead Near Arizona Trail at 31

The hiking community is mourning a loss.

The Scottsdale Police Department has confirmed that influencer Hannah Moody was discovered deceased on a trail in Scottsdale, Arizona, according to a public statement. At the time of her passing, she was 31 years old.

On May 21st, Hannah went missing as reported by her friends to the authorities. An initial search was conducted that day before it was halted for the night. The next day, around midday, her body was discovered close to the Gateway Trailhead of Scottsdale’s McDowell Sonoran Preserve.

Nearly a week after the tragedy, her mom Terri Moody, expressed her grief.

She shared with Arizona’s Family on May 28 that it feels surreal and hard to believe, “It’s… puzzling at the moment, and we’re working diligently to understand everything better since we’re unaware of any underlying health issues or circumstances that might have led to this.

However, Terri doesn’t believe there was foul play, noting the brutal Arizona weather.

As a die-hard admirer, I can’t help but speculate beyond the common assumption that it was due to heat. You see, it remains uncertain, and I believe it’s crucial we explore other possibilities. Fortunately, there was no hint of any untoward incident, which gives us some reassurance.

Additionally, she showed appreciation towards Hannah’s hiking companions and the community for their early collaboration in searching for her.

She noted that since numerous individuals showed affection and concern for her by taking up that responsibility, it’s a role we deeply appreciate having been filled.

She wishes that others will avoid similar misfortunes while going on a hike by taking extra safety measures.

She suggested, “It seems to me that inviting a friend along would be most beneficial. I understand it might be challenging as people often prefer solitude, but if I were to offer advice, that’s what I’d recommend.

Ultimately, the grieving mother reflected on her daughter’s passion for the outdoors.

Whenever she found herself atop something, taking in the sights of nature during sunrises or sunsets, she particularly cherished those moments.
