The WWE kicked off Saturday Night’s Main Event with an anticipated tag team match involving four top stars from Monday Night Raw. However, another star would soon join the action. The spotlight shifted towards Seth Rollins, along with Paul Heyman and Bron Breakker, in a clash against CM Punk and Sami Zayn. Despite not being on good terms, Punk and Zayn kept Rollins and Breakker on their toes. It seemed like Zayn was going to win, but after a crucial move by Heyman, an injured superstar made a comeback after 7 months, securing the victory for Rollins. The returning star was none other than Bronson Reed, hinting at a potentially lethal new alliance.
Despite harboring some disagreements prior to the contest, Punk and Zayn managed to set aside their differences and proved to be an extremely formidable duo. Rollins and Breakker had their opportunities, but whenever they seemed to take a slight lead, it was Zayn and Punk who regained momentum and maintained control of the situation.
This situation culminated in a crucial instance where Zayn positioned Breakker ideally for a powerful kick known as “Helluva”. With Rollins being outside of the ring, it appeared as though Zayn was about to halt their group’s momentum before it began. Regrettably, at this juncture, Heyman stepped in, tugging on Zayn’s foot and preventing him from executing the maneuver.
As Zayn focused on Heyman, the camera unexpectedly spotted an individual leaping over the barrier. This mysterious figure proved to be Bronson Reed, who swiftly surged towards Punk and rammed him through the barricade with a forceful tackle. With Reed knocking Punk out of action, Zayn momentarily got distracted by the commotion, which gave Breakker the opportunity to rise and retaliate against Zayn with a powerful spear in the heart of the ring. This attack left Zayn defenseless, and just seconds later, Breakker seized the chance to pin Zayn and clinch the victory.
In the arena, Reed entered the ring to confront Rollins, Breakker, and Heyman. Breakker moved towards Reed, getting ready for a battle. However, Rollins stepped between them, hesitated for a moment before embracing Reed, indicating a fresh partnership. Even Heyman was taken aback by this turn of events. Subsequently, Rollins got Breakker and Reed to shake hands, as they all rejoiced in their newfound alliance.
Although they weren’t completely finished yet, Rollins and his team managed to pull Punk back into the ring. Reed climbed up high while Rollins and Breakker held Punk down below. Then, Reed executed a Tsunami move, rendering Punk incapacitated on the mat. To add to Punk’s misery, Rollins placed his knee on Punk’s neck as they rejoiced in their victory and welcomed their latest recruit.
