CD Projekt RED has officially confirmed that the next installment in their popular action RPG series, The Witcher 4, won’t be released until after 2026. Given that it started full production last November, it’s no surprise that another major launch isn’t expected to happen next year, which is also when Naughty Dog’s Intergalactic game is not likely to debut.
Jason Schreier from Bloomberg shared on ResetEra that the upcoming appearance at The Game Awards 2024 serves as a “very early” hint, emphasizing that it is not set to release in the next year.
Despite Naughty Dog not specifying a release date for “Intergalactic” yet, director Neil Druckmann hinted that it’s still undergoing changes during production. The game, influenced by anime classics like “Akira” and “Cowboy Bebop,” delves into themes of solitude, striving to offer the most immersive gameplay in Naughty Dog’s catalog. Additionally, it seems to be drawing inspiration from “Elden Ring” in terms of player freedom.
The game titled “Intergalactic” is currently being worked on for the PlayStation 5. Keep an eye out for future announcements, and explore our article to get all the essential information.
