Intruder Arrested After Allegedly Breaking Into Windsor Castle Grounds

The Windsor Castle grounds security recently experienced a close call. 

On June 1st, an unauthorized individual made a failed attempt to enter the 13-acre property that is home to Kate Middleton, Prince William, their son Prince George (age 11), daughter Princess Charlotte (age 10), and son Prince Louis (age 6). This incident was confirmed by Thames Valley Police to NBC News.

Approximately at 1:01 PM on a Sunday, an individual illegally ventured into the restricted areas of Windsor Castle, as confirmed by authorities to People. He was promptly questioned by officers from the Metropolitan Police and taken into custody. It’s important to note that he did not gain access to the inner grounds of Windsor Castle.

In fact, Thames Police have indeed verified that an individual, reportedly a man in his 30s, has been apprehended and subsequently released from their custody.

The police stated that he was taken into custody for allegedly entering a restricted area and holding illegal Class A substances. They have released him on bond, and the investigation, led by Thames Valley Police, continues.

TopMob News has contacted Thames Valley Police about the burglary, but we’re still waiting for their response.

On multiple occasions, unauthorized entries have been attempted on the estate; this isn’t a new occurrence. In fact, back in October of last year, two vehicles were taken during a theft at the residence, as reported by NBC News.

According to Thames Valley Police, the suspects gained access to the property by using a farm structure. They then stole a black Isuzu pickup truck and a red all-terrain vehicle (quad bike).

In the lead-up to the royal family’s move to Windsor, I must share an intriguing incident that took place in April 2022. An unidentified individual, claiming to be a priest, managed to infiltrate the property under false pretenses. This imposter spent the evening enjoying the hospitality of the estate, partaking in delicious food and drinks. In fact, he was graciously offered a place to rest for the night on the premises.

In a 2022 statement to NBC, a representative of Thames Valley Police said that they were informed about an individual who didn’t belong there being at Victoria Barracks, located on Sheet Street, Windsor. Officers responded and escorted the person out of the barracks. No additional steps were necessary following this incident.

She expressed her gratitude for being in remission and continues to work towards healing, as stated in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on January 14th. It’s no secret that those who have faced a cancer diagnosis understand the challenge of adapting to a different way of life.

She went on to express her excitement, saying, “I’m eagerly anticipating a rewarding year to come.” Furthermore, there are many reasons for me to be optimistic about the future.

As a devoted follower, I grieve for the loss of my cherished rescue beagle, whom I had the pleasure of adopting back in 2015, long before I met my beloved husband, Prince Harry. This beloved canine companion was more than just a pet to me; she was an integral part of my life, and her passing has left a profound void.

On Instagram, she posted on January 7th: “I’ve shed so many tears I can’t even count them anymore – tears that drive you to shower in the hope that water washing your face might miraculously erase them, or make you believe they don’t exist.
