inZOI Early Access is Out Now on PC

As a thrilled supporter, I’m excited to share that Krafton and inZOI Studio have unveiled the release of their life simulation game, titled inZOI! It’s now available on PC as an Early Access title. Priced at $39.99, this means we can jump right in without waiting any longer! During its time in Early Access, all updates and additional content (DLC) will be offered free of charge. As per the game’s Steam store page, it’s anticipated that inZOI will spend a minimum of one year in Early Access. However, as development progresses, things might shift along the way. Can’t wait to see where this journey takes us!

In tandem with the Early Access launch of the main game, the companion tool, inZOI: Creative Studio, has been temporarily shut down. Although players can no longer experiment with some of the customization options demonstrated by inZOI: Creative Studio, those who previously played with it can transfer their Zois and designs into the primary game.

Ever since its debut, the gaming community on Steam has generally welcomed inZOI with enthusiasm. As I write this, there are a total of 2,711 user reviews, and the collective sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, rating it as ‘Very Positive’.

The studio decided to launch inZOI through an Early Access program, as they wanted to involve the community in their process and refine the development of their first life simulation game simultaneously.

The studio stated, “Since there aren’t many similar games in our field that can serve as a blueprint, we think releasing inZOI during Early Access will give players an early taste of the game and offer us crucial feedback to steer our development. This interactive phase allows us to fine-tune the game as well as focus on the aspects that resonate strongly with our gaming community.

Initially, inZOI encompasses many fundamental components that will serve as a base for introducing additional features in the future. These features range from personalizing characters, exploring two cities, to allowing players’ Zois to work and form connections.

As a dedicated gamer diving into the immersive world of inZOI, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news from the development team. They’re working tirelessly to enrich the gameplay experience by introducing deeper mechanics and refining the interaction system. The driving mechanics are getting a boost too, along with enhancements to the dynamic event system.

According to the latest press release, you can expect more content to roll out during inZOI’s Early Access phase, such as new cities and even mod support. And here’s something worth noting: when inZOI officially graduates from Early Access, its price will increase. So, it might be a good idea to jump in while the entry fee is still on the lower side!

As a passionate fan, I can’t help but echo the sentiments shared by the creative minds behind the studio. They understand that deciding which features to develop first is a crucial step, and they believe that maintaining an open dialogue with players is the key to success. This strategy truly encapsulates the spirit of Early Access, and it will play a pivotal role in helping them shape inZOI into the ultimate gaming experience.

Hyungjun Kim, both producer and director, discussed the journey taken by the inZOI Studio during the creation of their game. In a public statement, Kim compared inZOI to his own child, expressing a mix of pride and apprehension as it is now being played by more people.

Kim has lovingly developed and nurtured ‘inZOI’ like a parent cares for their child, even though there’s still plenty of room for growth,” Kim expressed in the press statement. “As ‘inZOI’ embarks on its journey into the gaming world, I feel a mix of pride and apprehension – hoping it won’t trip or get hurt. I would be grateful if you could watch over the game with kindness and encouragement.

If you’re wondering if your system is capable of running inZOI, take a look at the hardware specifications that were recently disclosed. While you wait for more information, feel free to read our review on the current status of the game as well.
