Rumor has it that the cast of The Real Housewives of Potomac is questioning why Karen Huger was absent at the season nine reunion gathering.
Instead, Wendy Osefo is questioning the timing of the Grand Dame’s decision to seek treatment at a private rehabilitation center, coming after her DUI conviction in January.
Wendy wonders aloud in TopMob News’ preview for part one, airing Feb 16th, “It seems odd that she’s taking this action before her sentencing. Is it perhaps a plea for help or an attempt to lessen the impact of her punishment?
Newcomer Stacey Rusch seems miffed by the proposition, instead expressing to the group, “Let’s show her understanding. Frankly, I’m thrilled that she’s on the path to recovery and prioritizing self-care.
Still, Wendy thinks it is fair to ask questions about Karen’s ongoing legal and personal troubles.
She explains to Stacey, “I understand where you’re coming from, but it seems like your questioning her as a friend might be an attempt to undermine what we’re saying, and I think that’s not right.” She adds, “We don’t always have to follow a set pattern. Friendship is also about honesty.
Mia Thornton then makes it known that she’s on Wendy’s side.
She questions if it seems like she’s entering rehab at this moment as an attempt to reduce her sentence. To which she responds affirmatively by saying, “Indeed.
Plus, Karen’s longtime frenemy Gizelle Bryant reasons, “And anybody would.”
Wendy agrees by replying, “I can’t knock the hustle. I would too.”
