The anticipated release date for NVIDIA’s RTX 5060 Ti is set for April 16, but designs of certain models from board partner MSI have inadvertently surfaced online.
As an eager enthusiast, here’s my take on the exciting sneak peek of the upcoming RTX 5000 GPUs, as shared by Videocardz. The lineup includes three models that have caught my attention: the MSI Inspire 2X, the MSI Gaming Trio, and the MSI Gaming series. Can’t wait to see more details about these powerhouses!
In my view, the Inspire 2X stands out as among the most attractive dual-fan graphics cards I’ve seen lately. Its minimalist design and hint of copper give it an appealing aesthetic.
As a tech enthusiast, it seems that the Inspire 2X RTX 5060 Ti will be ever-so-slightly thicker than your typical two expansion slots, and I’m eagerly anticipating its arrival with an 8-pin power connector to ensure smooth operation.

If you lean towards a GPU with a bold design, the MSI Gaming RTX 5060 Ti sports a sleek black exterior, sharp angles, and customizable RGB illumination might be just what you’re looking for.
This GPU seems to have a double fan design and is slightly more substantial than occupying two expansion slots. It appears that MSI opted for a 16-pin (12VHPWR) power cable connection instead.

Absolutely! You’re referring to the graphic card that several users have shared their experiences about it seemingly overheating or ‘melting’, when used in conjunction with the RTX 5090 and RTX 4090.
For the RTX 5060 Ti, there won’t be any issues regarding power supply. Unlike the RTX 5090 which requires a substantial 575W, the mid-range card is anticipated to debut with a Total Power Draw (TDP) of just 180W.
Why is this excessively powerful connector necessary for a 180W GPU, if you will? I don’t have a specific explanation on hand.
It’s possible that it involves overclocking, but the overclocking (OC) in question would need to be quite extreme to justify the use of 16-pin hardware.

The designs for MSI’s three-fan versions of the RTX 5060 Ti Gaming Trio and Gaming Trio White, including the white model, were similarly leaked. Both models are also said to feature a 16-pin power connector.
The 5060 Ti Gaming Trio, in essence, is an extended variant of the conventional Gaming GPU, preserving its distinctive angled sides and RGB illumination.
The Gaming Trio White is — you guessed it — the same card with a white finish.
A preliminary examination suggests that the RTX 5060 Ti graphics cards might incorporate the GB206 chip, a component that is compatible with PCIe 5.0 x8 interface.
As a tech enthusiast, I can hardly contain my excitement for next week when NVIDIA is set to officially unveil their RTX 5060 Ti GPUs! In no time at all, we’ll be privy to all the juicy details about these mid-range desktop graphics cards. Stay tuned!
