Despite having her fallopian tubes tied following the arrival of 11-month-old twins, who were her sixth and seventh children with fiancé Elijah Scott, she continues to grapple with mixed emotions about further growing their family.
In casual terms, “One day I said, ‘I’m absolutely done.’ However, yesterday, one of my friends and I were joking about wrestling, suggesting we were definitely calling it quits. Yet, if you had asked me just two days ago, Elijah and I might have been discussing IVF or something similar, I wasn’t sure.” This was what she confided to TopMob News exclusively.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but feel a mix of joy and melancholy when hearing the former Teen Mom 2 star talk about the prospect of adding more little ones to their family. It’s a bittersweet decision, one that carries both excitement for new life and a touch of sadness for the changes that come with each addition.
She reminisced with a wistful tone, saying, “You might believe you’ve finished, but there are still those tender, squishy instances.” Reflecting on sorting through the twins’ three-month wardrobe, she mused, “I remember thinking, ‘This is the last time I’ll do this. Are we really done?’
The renowned author and podcast host prioritizes spending quality time with all her children. Apart from the twins, she welcomed son Rio in November 2022 with Elijah. She is a mother to four other sons: Isaac Rivera, 14, with ex Jo Rivera; Lincoln Marshall Marroquin, 10, with ex-husband Javi Marroquin; Lux Lowry, 7; and Creed Lopez, 4, with ex Chris Lopez.

Regarding a possible return to reality TV for the working mom, she has indicated that she remains open to exploring fresh possibilities.
Kailyn mentioned that she might have had a meeting with someone from a network last week, but she’s not certain. However, she does believe that if the opportunity aligns well with her interests, it could indeed happen.

At the tender age of 17, Kailyn Lowry had her first child, Isaac Elliot Rivera, with her high school sweetheart Jo Rivera, who was born on January 18, 2010.
Despite parting ways a year later, the former partners have established a smooth co-parenting dynamic. Notably, Kailyn hosts her “Baby Mamas No Drama” podcast alongside Jo’s wife, Vee Rivera. Lincoln Marshall, son-in-law of Javi Marroquin (former Teen Mom 2 star), joined the team on November 16, 2013, approximately a year following their wedding which took place in late 2012.
According to Kailyn in her 2022 podcast episode of Barely Famous, this tween is quite passionate about sports. A large chunk of his time is dedicated to switching between basketball and football matches. To celebrate his 10th birthday, he threw an NBA-themed party, showcasing his admiration for the legendary player, Allen Iverson.
It should come as no shock that when it was time to decide a name for his youngest brother, Iverson, or “Verse” as she later revealed in a February 2024 TikTok post, was the suggestion made by Lincoln since he is an avid basketball enthusiast.
In her 2022 birthday tribute, it was stated that “Lincoln is admired by all.” She described him as intelligent, good-looking, and an exceptional brother among brothers.
Lux Russell Lowry enjoys football, wrestling, solving Rubik’s Cubes, and listening to Michael Jackson’s music among other things.
Kailyn’s first-born child, Lux, came into the world on August 5, 2017, with Chris Lopez, who was previously her boyfriend. Despite their relationship having its ups and downs for several years, as of 2020, she shared with TopMob News that they no longer communicate at all. She expressed a hope that things may improve over time, but for now, she doesn’t have any grand plans or negative sentiments. She simply hopes for the best for their children and whatever resolution their situation might find.
No matter which direction Lux moves, he’s making rapid progress. Kailyn expressed her excitement while celebrating his sixth birthday with a lively WWE-themed party, stating that “Lux has been racing into our lives since the very beginning and keeps us guessing every single day.” She added, “I adore this little lion cub so deeply!
Prior to the birth of Creed Romello Lowry-Lopez on July 30, 2020, Kailyn confessed that she had been grappling with a significant dilemma. “I concealed the pregnancy for such a long time because I wasn’t sure what I was going to do – whether I would keep the baby or not,” she shared with TopMob News shortly after his birth. “That was a very heavy burden for me, and during that period, I was truly struggling.
Despite experiencing a turbulent relationship with Chris, Creed’s father, seeing the ultrasound image convinced her of her decision. Similar to his elder siblings who expressed affection towards the baby and were caring towards him as Kailyn shared—”All three of them wanted to hold the baby and they are very loving towards him,”—the podcaster fell in love with the baby from the start.
She penned down on his third birthday celebration shared with Lux, “CREED. Romello. Mello. Romey. Rome. Biggie. Bigs.” This tiny dynamite of mine is beyond description in words, so I’ll reserve my sentimental expressions for our real-life moments!
Kailyn clarified to People that she preferred to share the news about her fifth child, Rio, who was born in November 2022, on her own timeline and in her own words.
Despite a difficult beginning, as he needed care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) due to breathing problems and excess fluid in his lungs, he has turned out to be an absolute delight. In other words, he’s been the perfect baby one could ask for.
First-time dad Elijah Scott deserves some props as well. “It’s been very different from my other partners and my kids’ other dads,” she said of her boyfriend. “He pours concrete, he gets down and dirty at work. But he’s also just a real family man. He’s very, very much connected with his own family, with our family, and so he’s been a really good partner to me, and I feel like it’s a really good match.”
It seems her initial experience with Rio made her want to continue the celebration, as caring for four children proved challenging compared to five, although she believes that’s due to child number four being quite spicy. Number five, however, is remarkable; he’s exceptional, almost to the point where if all her babies were like him, she would have had 10 more.

Kailyn officially stepped into her motherhood phase with twins, Verse and Valley, born to her in October 2023, who were the second and third kids she had with her partner, Elijah.
In contrast to her brother, Kailyn, who was named after the Lehigh Valley where she spent her childhood in Pennsylvania, experienced an extended stay at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) due to some difficulties with feeding.
In the January 2024 episode of Barely Famous, Kailyn clarified that she had never encountered a newborn who didn’t wake up for meals or exhibit signs of hunger. Instead, this baby would sleep right through feeding times. She didn’t display any feeding cues, and when I tried to give her a bottle, she wouldn’t take it.
Even as Kailyn remains concerned about the twins’ relationship following their prolonged time apart, she’s overjoyed that her family has been reunited at last, working diligently to rekindle their bond and restore it to its original state.
She remarked, “I am filled with gratitude, appreciation, contentment, joy, and a sense of wholeness.” This sentiment has led us to expand our home. We are truly fortunate. The babies in our care are wonderful.
