A golden ticket to the Golden Globes.

Following their victories in the Timothée Chalamet and Glen Powell doppelganger competitions earlier this year, Miles Mitchell and Maxwell Braunstein received more than just a $50 prize and a year’s supply of queso; they also secured an invitation to attend one of the most entertaining award shows of the year.

At the 2025 Golden Globes ceremony, which was hosted by Nikki Glaser, Miles and Maxwell chose to leave their Charlie-and-Maverick-themed outfits at home and instead donned more formal attire for the event. On the red carpet on January 5th, Miles wore a sleek black tuxedo with a bowtie, while Maxwell selected a stylish navy suit accessorized with a cowboy boot bolo tie as a nod to their hometown of Austin, Texas. To complete their stylish appearances, both Maxwell and Miles struck poses holding signs saying, “I just won a look-alike competition and now I’m attending the Golden Globes.

Additionally, in a heartwarmingly cute incident, Maxwell encountered his spitting image on the red carpet. Notably, Glen stepped in to greet both and briefly introduce Maxwell to his mother, who had been tasked with judging the likeness competition on his behalf.

This year’s ceremony has seen nominations for both Glen and Timothée for an award. (Here is a list of those who have already won.)

Timothee Chalamet received his fourth Golden Globe nomination for his role in “A Complete Unknown”, whereas Glen got his initial nomination at the same awards ceremony, in the Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy category, for his performance in “Hit Man”.

In their respective categories, both actors are up against tough rivals. Specifically, the actor from “Anyone But You” is matched with Gabriel LaBelle from “Saturday Night,” Hugh Grant from “Heretic,” Jesse Eisenberg from “A Real Pain,” Jesse Plemons from “Kinds of Kindness,” and Sebastian Stan from “A Different Man.

Meanwhile, Timothée is nominated alongside Sebastian, as well as Adrien Brody (The Brutalist), Colman Domingo (Sing Sing), Daniel Craig (Queer), and Ralph Fiennes (Conclave) for the category of Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Motion Picture.

Following his fourth nomination, Timothée expressed his delight about the recognition, saying, “It’s absolutely incredible to be part of such an immensely talented group of actors today. A COMPLETE UNKNOWN, which took me five years to create, holds a special place in my heart, so this acknowledgment is particularly meaningful.

The actor from Dune commented, “Though 1960s Greenwich Village might seem unrelated to Arrakis at first glance, it was the progressive spirit and pioneering culture of 1960s America that eventually led to these projects being brought to life after six decades. I appreciate you.
