As a fervent book lover who has been captivated by Colleen Hoover’s novels since their inception, I eagerly awaited the announcement of an adaptation for “It Ends With Us”. My anticipation was further fueled when Blake Lively was cast as the lead actress, and now, with Justin Baldoni directing, it feels like a dream come true.
Following her appearance in Deadpool & Wolverine, Blake Lively has been cast as the main character in a highly anticipated movie based on the popular book “It Ends With Us”.
Ever since I stumbled upon “It Ends with Us” by Colleen Hoover back in 2016, it’s been a heart-gripping read that’s left me captivated. However, its popularity really took off in 2021 when it went viral on TikTok, skyrocketing to the top of sales charts not just once, but twice – in 2022 and 2023! I can’t help but feel like a movie lover who’s found an unforgettable cinematic masterpiece.
It’s nearly certain that the film will be adapted for the big screen due to its success, and starting this week, you can catch it in UK theaters. Rachel Lively will take on a role alongside Justin Baldoni, who not only stars but also directs the movie.
Two trailers for the movie have been unveiled, each featuring tunes by famous musicians that are popular favorites. This has left fans speculating about what additional tracks might be included in the film.
Indeed, she didn’t lack choices: Recently, Lively shared that she put together a massive 100-track behind-the-scenes playlist during the making of the new movie. This list included songs that actually made it into the film as well as tunes that served as inspiration for the cast and crew.
“As for the music that accompanied me during filming, some tunes were instrumental in our editing process, and others played a role during marketing. Lastly, there were certain enchanting tracks that found their way into the movie itself,” I penned down.

At this point, the full soundtrack for the film hasn’t been made available yet, but what we can confirm is that the following tunes have been played in trailers leading up to the movie.

Based on the fact that the artists showcased in the trailers have a significant popularity, it’s likely that well-known musicians will contribute many songs to the movie.
Additionally, an official Spotify playlist has been created, featuring not only the mentioned trailer tracks but also tunes by artists such as Rhye, Fatboy Slim, Thom Yorke, Cigarettes After Sex, Lana Del Rey, and Lewis Capaldi, along with several others.
Although it hasn’t been definitively announced that these particular songs will appear on the movie’s soundtrack, it strongly suggests the kind of music we might hear in the film.
