Based on a few (reliable) leaks, the makers at Hazelight Studios have finally revealed their upcoming title, titled “Split Fiction.

As a gamer, I’d put it this way: “Published by EA Originals, Split Fiction is my duo game where my friend and I embark on a thrilling co-op action adventure. We’re not your typical heroes – we’re aspiring writers who find ourselves mysteriously pulled into our own written worlds.

This new game appears to offer an even wider array of creative and imaginative settings compared to It Takes Two, as the duo of characters venture through both fantastical and futuristic realms. The variety of gameplay styles and mechanisms seems incredibly diverse, and it truly looks stunning.

Notably, this exciting title is scheduled for release in just a few months from now, specifically on March 6th, 2025, exclusively on PS5. Similar to games like It Takes Two and A Way Out, it will incorporate the Friend Pass system. This means that if someone purchases the game, they can extend an invitation to a friend to join them in the game at no additional cost.
