It Takes Two Has Sold Over 20 Million Units

As a dedicated gamer who’s been around the block a few times, I can confidently say that It Takes Two has undeniably left its mark on the gaming industry. With over 20 million copies sold worldwide, this game has proven to be a smashing success and a testament to Hazelight Studios’ exceptional storytelling and gameplay.

Over the past three and a half years since its debut, the narrative-focused cooperative platformer “It Takes Two” from Hazelight Studios has maintained both commercial prosperity commensurate with its universal critical praise and ongoing popularity. Even today, the game continues to see strong sales figures.

On Twitter, Hazelight Studios revealed that more than 20 million copies of “It Takes Two” have been sold globally. The studio expressed their heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of the countless players who spent their time playing as characters Cody and May.

Earlier this year in March, the news broke out that the game “It Takes Two” had surpassed 16 million unit sales. Evidently, its sales continue to show a strong and steady growth.

The game “It Takes Two” can be played on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and personal computers. Additionally, it has been finely tuned for the Steam Deck handheld gaming device earlier this year.

It appears that Hazelight Studios may be preparing a new project and hinted earlier this year that details would emerge in 2024. There’s speculation that we might get an official announcement about the project during The Game Awards in December.

Wow, It Takes Two has sold over 20 million copies! You’re simply amazing fans, your enthusiasm for our game is truly astounding! ❤️

We can’t thank enough each and every one of the millions who have relished their time with Cody and May. 😍
