Nakayama, who had a child with her former spouse named Hitonari Tsuji, recently withdrew from a Christmas performance scheduled for December 6 due to health issues.
In 1985, she first appeared on screen in the movie “Maido Osawagase Shimasu”. However, it was her leading role in the 1995 film “Love Letter” that truly established her as a legendary performer and garnered her numerous acting accolades.
